Frontal crash near Alpine leaves Mrs. Wyoming Woman dead, 2 injured

One person was killed and two more injured in a frontal accident near Alpine on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 4:02 p.m. at Milepost 121.8 on the USA 26/US 89, east of the city.

According to a summary of Deathary, the 80-year-old Wyoming resident Ann Wright was behind the wheel of a Honda CR-V in the south when she switched over the center line and hit an oncoming Ford F-1550 frontally.

Unfortunately, Wright, who wore her seat belt, did not survive the crash.

The pickup driver and a passenger were also injured in the crash.

Driver fatigue, condition of the disease may be to blame

After the summary it rained and the highway was wet at the time of the crash.

Wright is the 34th registered person who dies on Wyoming's highways this year.
