Driscoll became Director of Video and Analytics for K-State Men | K-State Sport

Chase Driscoll, a co -coach in North Florida in the past four years, was hired on Thursday morning (May 15) by head coach Jerome Tang as director of video and analysis.

Driscoll, who started his new job on Tuesday, will be the second use of Tang in this off -season on April 29, after the new co -coach Bill Peterson.

“I am lit to bring Chase Driscoll on board as our new video coordinator,” said Tang in a written explanation. “His eye for details, passion for the game and the work morality makes him a big win for our program. I can hardly wait to recognize the effects on our preparation, the development of players and overall success.”

Driscoll arrives in his Alma Mater North Florida after a four-year stay (2021-25), where he worked as an assistant trainer and director of operations for his father Matthew Driscoll, who is both the unfable and the Atlantic Sun Conference (Asun) all-time winner with 248 career victory.

His father Matthew trained together with Tang for six seasons (2003-09) in Baylor as the original member of the coach of head coach Scott Drew, before becoming head coach at UNF.

The younger driscoll contributed to leading the Osprreys to 56 victories, including 33 in Asun Play, the last four seasons (2021-25) with a record of 16-16 in 2023-24 and a record of 15-17 in 2024-25. Last season, the squad made national noise with streets Siegen at South Carolina and Georgia Tech.

In addition, Driscoll helped develop three all-Conference selections in Carter Hendrickson, Jose Placer and Chaz Lanier at unf. Hendricksen achieved more than 1,600 career points on the way to receiving every honors three times. Placer scored an average of more than 14 points per game in three seasons before moving to Südflorida in 2023-24. Lanier was a first team for all-asun in 2023-24 before becoming a third team All-American, the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the annual price and the SEC newcomer of the year in his only season in Tennessee in 2024-25.

“I feel incredibly honored to join the men's basketball program in Kansas State and gratefully for Coach Tang for the chance of being part of his winning culture, which is based on hard work and accountability,” said Driscoll. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to live life with the employees and the people in Manhattan. I look forward to gaining our team in preparation, competition and gaining and gaining at the highest level.

In 2021, Driscoll returned to his Alma Mater after a one-year stay (2020-21) as an assistant coach and developmental head coach at Webber International, a NAIA program based in Babson Park, Florida. He dealt with the consequences of the Covid 19 season and helped train a few of the selection of the second team All-Sun Conference in Rasienne Etienne and Jaylon Myles.

Driscoll started his coaching career as a co-co coach of doctoral students at Oral Roberts in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons for the current head coach of Wichita State Paul Mills. He helped to lay the foundation for a team of Golden Eagles that rose to Sweet 16 in 2021, since the squad rose in the first 2018-19 to 17 out of 11 victories and in 2019-20 in Driscolls first season and a berth in the Colleginsider.com tournament (CIT).

Driscoll developed eight all-conference players in his young coaching career, including Emmanuel Nzekwesi, Kevin Obanor and Deondre Burns on the ORU, Rasememen and Jaylon Myles from Webber International and Carter Hendricksen, Jose Placer and Chaz Lanier at UNF. In addition, Nzekwesi (2016-17) and Obanor (2018-19) both were the Summit League rookies of the year with the Golden Eagles.

Driscoll was part of 74 wins and a couple of Atlantic Sun Conference (Asun) Regular seasonal championships (2015, 2016) during his four-year career (2014-18) at UNF.

Before his career as a player at UNF, Driscoll was an outstanding stock of the Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida, where he helped the crusaders in 2013 and 2014 to two titles in the district and in 2014 and during his junior season 2013 a state final four appearance.

Driscoll comes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, acquired his bachelor's degree in sports and educational management from North Florida in 2018 before receiving a master in science, sports and leisure management from Oral Roberts in 2020.
