Billionaires fall when the king rises

The number of billionaires in Great Britain has fallen, while King Charles' personal assets rose to the former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty after the last Rich list of the Sunday list.

The annual list of the 350 richest people in Great Britain showed the largest decline in billionaires in the history of the newspaper.

In the meantime, the king's assets have grown by GBP 30 million to 640 million GBP last year, which increased its rank by 20 places to 258 with Sunak and Murty.

“But local young tech entrepreneurs and centuries-old family businesses warn of serious consequences for a number of tax changes that were presented in the budget of the past October.”
