The 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in the central PA.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Juniata County after a crash on Thursday evening, according to the Pennsylvania state police.

Yaniel Ortiz Maldonado from Port Royal died after an accident that took place around 7:30 p.m. in the 9700 block of the Licking Creek Road in Milford Township.

The police said Ortiz Maldonado had a Suzuki motorcycle when he had traveled to the north at the Licking Creek Road at a high speed when he lost control of a right curve and avoided it into the left lane.

Ortiz Maldonado then started sliding across the street while moving south, the police said.

Another vehicle turned onto the shoulder, so as not to step on the motorcyclist, could not avoid the police.

The police said the motorcycle took 200 feet before he came to a final break.

Ortiz Maldonado wore a helmet when the crash occurred, the police said.

The police said several witnesses were interviewed at the scene.

The Pennsylvania State Police in Lewistown examines the crash.
