Death by distribution: Greensboro man who is charged here in November after the death of Opiod

If you give or sell illegal narcotics in Davie County and he die from these drugs, you could get into great difficulty.
A man Greensboro found the last week when he was charged by a Davie Grand jury because of the death by distribution.
The case had been examined by the Davie Sheriff's office after a body was found on November 30, 2024 at the Days Inn in the Yadkinville Road in Mocksville.
The 24 -year -old Preston J. Hamrick was charged with the spread of Conner Mitchell Dillon for spreading the crime. It was taken into custody instead of a 250,000 dollar bond. If he is convicted, he could be sentenced to more than 19 years in prison.
On November 30, the officials at the Hotal answered a “medical emergency” for the first time, said Davie Sheriff JD Hartman.
“The MPs who were dillon who had died. The first examination showed that Dillon had died of an overdose in the truth,” said Hartman.
“An extensive six-month examination, which included autopsy evidence, interviews, surveillance and several search commands, showed that Dillon died, an overdose of fentanyl and hycrocodone, which was delivered by Preston Hamrick.”
The case was presented to the Grand jury on May 12th.
“This shows the commitment of the Sheriff office of Davie County to examine crimes with narcotics, including delivery, exchange or sale of drugs that cause the death of a person using the Degoy according to the distribution law.”
