One person dead after falling in the southwest of Las Vegas Valley

Las Vegas (KTNV) – One person is dead after a wreck in the Enterprise area on Thursday evening.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department Las Vegas, it happened around 8:03 p.m. on West Gomer Road and the South Cimarron Road.

A Nissan Altima sedan from 2015 drove to the east with ruthless speeds with Gomer, the authorities said.

At that time, a 2024 RAM 2500 truck was stopped at the stop sign north on Cimmarron south of Gomer.

After giving in, the truck drove to the intersection, and a crash took place when the Nissan did not obey the stop sign and entered the intersection.

The front of the sedan hit the left side of the truck, and the driver of the Nissan suffered life -threatening injuries.

The Nissan driver was brought to the UMC trauma by ambulance and declared dead by the hospital staff.

The truck driver showed no signs of impairments.

The death of the Nissan driver was the 68th traffic-related deaths in the jurisdiction of the LVMPD for 2025.
