Celtics fans share heart -warming words of encouragement with Jayson Tatum after an injury

When the Boston Celtics compete against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Friday evening, hoping to ward off the excretion from the NBA playoffs, they will do so on the ground without superstar Jayson.

Tatum suffered a torn Achilles late in the fourth quarter of the fourth game in the series. He went into the operation to repair the injury shortly afterwards, but watches a long recovery that could miss most of the next season in addition to this year's playoff run.

While Celtics fans are undoubtedly crushed to see their star in pain, and about the success of the chances of winning a title that came as a result, a recent team showed that Tatum fans are with him to recovery.

The Celtics have set up a microphone outside the TD garden and asked the fans to share their support for Tatum. What resulted was one of the most heart -warming voiceemails that they could ever hope for.

Tatum's teammates will do everything to force a return to Boston for a game 7.

Game 6 between the Celtics and Knicks is said to give in at 8:00 p.m. ET in the Madison Square Garden. It's a big night for sports in New York City.
