Crime stopper from Flint and Genesee County honor of victims of violence

Flint, me. – On May 17th, Crime Stopers of Flint and Genesee County will reveal the heart in collaboration with the Doxa development Canvas, a collection of hand -made portraits of victims of violence.

Heart to Canvas is exhibited at the Genesee County Community Safety Resource Fair at Berston Field House.

Criminal police said that in the past few months, local artists have worked with families who are affected by violence to create portraits that honor the lives of lost people.

The Genesee County Community Safety Resource Fair is a free event with almost 40 interest representative organizations, including law enforcement authorities and the Genesee County public prosecutor.

“At Crime Stopers, we believe that security and healing go hand in hand,” said Julie Lopez, Managing Director of Crime Stopers of Flint & Genesee County. “The heart -Canvas project is a deeply moving homage to the lost life and a strong memory of the strength in our community.”

The event will take place on May 17 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Berston Field House.
