State police examined theft, death, drug possession

Soldiers from the State Police in Pennsylvania have been employed in the past few days and reacted to a variety of calls in Jefferson County, including an examination of an indefinite death, an arrest for possession of drug utensils and a case of retail theft.

The state police of the Punxsutawney station carried out a death examination in Beaver Township, Jefferson County. The soldiers started the investigation on May 11 at 4:30 p.m. The circumstances of death are indefinite at that time.

Marienville State Police arrested a 36-year-old Summerville man for possession of drug utensils. The arrest occurred on May 7 at 2:31 p.m. in Summerville Borough, Jefferson County. The police said they had an arrest warrant when the man was arrested. Drug utensils were reportedly found in his person and in his vehicle.

Court files show that a 39-year-old Johnsonburg woman was quoted for retail on May 16. The crime appeared on April 1. The case is active and waits for a plea.
