Celtics vs. Knicks game 6 prediction, select

Bryan Armetta delivers his analysis and prediction for game 6 between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks.

An eventful semi-finals of the Eastern Conference between the Knicks and Celtics will go to the Madison Square Garden for Game 6. In this struggle between historical rivals, New York leads a 3-2 lead, a game of progress. On Wednesday, Boston kept his season alive with a dominant victory of 127-102. Can the C -conditions achieve a further victory, or do the goats take care of the business?

The Knicks will appear this evening as 2.5-point favoriteswith the About/below set to 211.5 points To Draftking's sports book. Let us break down both teams that go to the Pivotal Contest on Friday.

What is fascinating about this matchup is how the perceptions have freaked for over a week. New York came into play as a heavy outsider and competed against the dominant defending champions. After two wins to open the series, it was the Knicks that became favorites on the rise. An injury at the end of the season for Jayson Tatum in game 4 only removed the chances from Boston.

The Celtics reacted to their perhaps the lowest point in years. In game 5 Jaylen Brown rose in Tatum's absence and scored 26 points, eight rebounds and 12 assists. As a team, Boston shot 52.4% of the field and 44.9% from three -point range, which reminded the world how dangerous this team is. In comparison, the kinks are connected with gloomy 35.8% of their field goal attempts.

The Celtics when their great defense did his job again. That was most of this series, and New York scored only 103.0 points in five games. Game 5 was rare when Jalen Brunson had no big influence. The superstar guard scored 22 points at 41.2% before it was fourth. It is unlikely that it will not continue this evening, even if it is Elite Persimeter -Defenders like Brown and Derrick White. In four career games 6 with the Knicks, Brunson achieved 38.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 6.8 assists.

The biggest problem from New York is the inconsistent production of its other stars. OG Anunoby was terrible on the offensive and scored six points or less in three of his last five appearances. Karl-Anthony Towns had his moments, but a foul-load-19-point effort in game 5 was disappointing. Mikal Bridges is in defense, but tends to go without a goal. One of these three has to deliver at both ends of the floor for the kink this evening.

If this series taught us something, these two squads can be resilient. The Knicks have come back from numerous double -digit deficits and prove that no lead is insurmountable. The Celtics managed to gather without their best player who won dominant during the 5th game.

While New York has the better athletes in this matchup, Boston's shooting is the great equalization. Even without Tatum, the Celtics have a clear depth. It is a big bonus in snipers like Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchhard in snipers. I am sure that the Knicks can shoot out of the field over 40.0% tonight. Only because of a better performance by Brunson does it feel inevitable. Assuming that happens, it feels totally totally like a reasonable bet for beders from tonight.

Best bet: Celtics-Knicks over 211.5 (-110)
