Brenden Lee Jones, whose name alternatively is listed in official records as Brendon or Brendan Lee Jones, is accused of raping the woman on September 15, 2023 after the two of them had entered a car accident and was injured.

According to an incident report from Fort Lauderdale's police department, the woman, who lived in a homeless shelter in Lauderhill, called on the city's police department to report that it was raped “somewhere behind the KFC” at 3100 W. Broward BlVD.
