Virginia Tech Softball against Belmont, NCAA Regional Score

From our own Kaden Reinhard

The opening of the Tuscaloosa Region Matchups will take place against No. 2 Virginia Tech Hokies (41-11, 18-6 ACC) against the Missouri Valley conference champions, No. 3 Belmont Bruins (40-14, 20-7).

It will be a difficult task for the bruins to violate a Power Four School in their first game of their first appearance of the NCAA championship.

Redshirt junior Maya Johnson was over Belmont's defense and success of Belmont all season and presents her talent in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, in which she threw two games to hit Belmont's ticket on the big stage.

Tech also has a phenomenal ace in the circle, Emma Lemley, who, together with Johnson, is bound to four with four with Johnson this season. Together with both among the top three for active career strikes. Johnson is also the NCAA leader this season with 355.

While the Bruins rely on Johnson to relieve the pressure from the crime, Tech can enter every game that is prepared for a shootout with his offensive when the pitching drops.

The Hokies are known for their offensive skills, which take second place in home runs per game and the fifth percentage of the team in second place. The attack on the plate will be the role of Johnson as even more difficult, since this season is not yet exposed to a top 25 team-not to take up in Belmont's competition against the Ranking lists Oregon Ducks.

Cori McMillan led the team through Leadoff-Bading-Leadoff both in a figurative manner and literally and literally. He was the ACC player of the year and is currently a top 10 finalist for the “Player of the Year” award from USA Softball.

McMillan lowered .452/.566/1.096 with 30 Homeruns, while he was released in every game for tech.

Here is how Virginia Tech represents for today's game:
