2025 NBA design rumors: Spurs will probably keep number 2, designs combination outstanding

This week, the NBA-Draft Combine in Chicago, the unofficial start of the design times around the NBA, became together (even if it is almost the whole year as the league itself). Here are the latest news, notes and rumors about the NBA design of 2025, which takes place in the Barclays Center in Brookly from June 25th to 26th.

Spores probably keep the number 2 selection

As soon as the Spurs landed with the No. 2 selection – a few minutes later as soon as everyone was over The shock of the Mavericks that receive the top selection – People drew a border between Giannis Antetocounmpo and San Antonio. The logic is simple: the Spurs already have De'aaron Fox and Stephon Castle at Wachen so that they do not have to be projected. No. 2 Pick Dylan Harper from Rutgers, Antetocounmpo In addition to Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs -Ssofar -Titel Content and San Antonio have the additional picks and the players who can deal with the trade.

Just a few problems with it. First, Antetokounmpo has not yet asked Milwaukee and cannot. His decision to stay can be the best bet.

Second, the Spurs bow to holding No. 2 selection. Here is what Sam Vecenie from The Athletic wrote about the combine harvester in Chicago.

Most of the sources I speak to in the league think that the most likely result is that the Spurs do exactly that: Pat and Pick on No. 2.

If the Spurs keep the choice, you should design the best player on the board regardless of the position. That means, take Harper. It is better to have too much talent in one position (a player can always be traded) instead of saying that you don't have to design Michael Jordan because you already have Clyde Drexler. Harper is the clear number 2 in this class, makes it a spur.

76 lists offers for No. 3

Daryl Morey is open to a trade. Shocking.

However, Vecenie reports that Philadelphia will most likely listen to offers for No. 3 selection and the right to design VJ Edgecomme or Ace Bailey. This is the intelligent step of Morey. For Philly, Edgecomb is another smaller security guard who would become part of a small withdrawal from Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain, a good fit, but no need. Ace Bailey has advantages, but is a little a project, and the Sixers are as tinend as it

It is unclear who it may be, but keep an eye on the 3rd place as a potential trade.

Combine outstanding services at NBA Draft

People in Chicago are a handful of players here who have helped their cause.

• VJ Edgecompbe, Wache, Baylor. Edgecomb did not need much help, he was already projected as a top four election in most boards, but his sportiness and two-way potential stabbed, and he may have been solid for third place in many boards over Ace Bailey.

• Tahaad Pettiford, guard, Auburn. He turned the heads with a 42-inch vertical jump and then set up large numbers in the first scrimmage. That fell the eyes of many people, but then he fought in his next scrimmage and alleviated the excitement. Still strong combine harvester for him.

• Khaman Maluach, Center, Duke. In an NBA in which more and more teams are looking for big men who can protect the rims and represent a vertical threat to pick -and -roll, Maluach helped themselves. He measured with 7'1 “barefoot and had a 7'7” wing span and a 9,6 “stand -this type of large man numbers that NBA teams are looking for, and Maluach fits the role with its combination tests. There are rumors that he received a promise from the Raptors to No. 9.

• Maxime Raynaud, center, Stanford. The Senior Big Man was the only player who played on the first day of the Scrimmages, noticed how well he played (and helped his thing) and looked at himself from day. A bubble on the late/early second talent.
