  • Jian Shi, 56 years, from Shanghai, China
  • Li Nie, 64 years, from Arcadia, California, USA
  • Aifeng Wan, 53 years, from Arcadia, California, USA
  • Xiaoming Jiang, 66 years, from Guilin, Province of Guangxi, China
  • Yu Zhang, 30 years, from Eastvale, California, USA (identified as a driver of the van)
  • Isaih Moreno, 25 years, from Humble, Texas, USA (previously identified as a Dodge RAM driver)

“This tragic incident required thorough coordination and careful attention to detail,” said the forensic doctor of Fremont County Brenda Dye. “I am grateful to the Coroner office of the Ada County and Idaho State Police Forensic Services for their professionalism and support. Your cooperation was important to ensure precise identification and the correct documentation for the families of the lost people.”

On Thursday evening, May 1st, on the eastern US Highway 20 near Henry's Lake, reports on the frontal accident that went up in flames and killed seven people.

The collision included a Dodge Ram pickup and a Mercedes passenger car. The van had 14 inmates and reported a tour group from CTOUR Holiday.
