“Do you threaten me?”

Body Camera film material from three police officers from Worcester gives a partial view of the chaotic circumstances of a mother who was arrested by federal agents, the arrest of her daughter and a confrontation with a city council who demanded that the officers let them go.

On May 8, agents of the immigration and customs authority (ICE) Rosane Ferreira-de Oliveira arrested in the Eureka Street. After a lot of 25 people surrounded the ice agents they held, an agent 911 called and asked for the support of the police.

The film material and the audio were uploaded online to a playlist on the city's YouTube channel on Friday.

The body camera of officer Patrik Hanlon conquered ice agents who arrested Ferreira-de Oliveira (40), surrounded by officials, city councilor Ete Haxhiaj from District 5, you can see how to walk up to the officers and Ferreira-de Oliveira. Haxhiaj grabbed the arm of Ferreira-de Oliveira and asked her not to take her before two ice agents shine from Ferreira-de Oliveira.

“Don't take it!” Haxhiaj screamed at the officers.

“Stay back,” said an ice agent quietly.

When agents took the Ferreira-de Oliveira away, Haxhiaj followed the agent and called her cowards because they had arrested an “innocent woman”.

“They show no arrest warrants, rise from our neighborhood!” She screamed.

When the agents moved to a Gold Ford SUV, Haxhiaj reached to Ferreira-de Oliveira before Hanlon reached her hands to withdraw her, her first name and said she should stop.

“I can't stop!” She screamed at the officer.

The body cameras' material recorded by Hanlon and Officer Juan Vallejo showed that Ferreira-de Oliveira's 17-year-old daughter ran to the side of the SUV passenger door. While the police later said she tried to step the door, it makes it difficult to confirm this.

Ice Agents and Worcester Police, including Vallejo, surrounded the girl. Vallejo repeated her repeatedly she should “stop” and then shouted: “You will be hurt!”

“Don't talk to me!” The girl shouted back when she ran away from the officers.

An ice agent ran towards her and wrapped his arms around her. Vallejo did the same as the girl started screaming.

“They are arrested for peace and disorders of peace,” said another officer who said when the girl's screams became louder. The official screamed again that she was arrested.

The camera from Vallejo and Officer Shauna McGuirk contacted several bodies, including the girl before she was seen on the floor with several officers. Officers can then be seen how they tied up the girl with handcuffs. McGuirk was one of the officers who took the girl with them who can be sobbing and pulled away.

A few minutes later, Haxhiaj went to Vallejo.

“She is my voter!” she said.

“People who are arrested are arrested,” replied Vallejo.

“She is not, she didn't do anything,” replied Haxhiaj. “Let them go, she is traumatized. Why do you hold her? Let them go.”

“Well, you can go to the train station when she gets her deposit, ok?” Said Vallejo.

“She didn't do anything, why do you arrest her?” Haxhiaj shouted back.

Vallejo then grabbed Haxhiaj's shoulders and arms to move her back, and told her she should retire before he turned her. She asked other officers: “Do you threaten me?”

“Back, get your hands from us,” said Vallejo to her, before he stepped away, as another officer to Vallejo: “Jesus, Juan”.

When the scene with Vallejo, ice cream and ATF agents clarified on the street, people can scream at the explosions and tell them that they should go.

McGuirk went with other officers and the girl to the end of the Eureka Street. The girl can be heard to people on the street in Portuguese.
