19-year-old killed by alleged Dui drivers in Colton

A young man is dead after being run over by a suspected Dui driver.

What we know:

The incident that was caught on video occurred on May 2 at 6:48 a.m. in the 1700 block of the East Washington Street in Colton.

The video shows that 19-year-old Larenz Lamaar Fonder crosses the street while a vehicle hits it. Colton's police said he was then hit by several vehicles. He was declared dead at the crime scene. The police department said that everyone who is involved in the crash stayed at the scene and were together with civil servants.

The driver of the initial vehicle, the 30-year-old Antonio Dominguez Medrano, was arrested for driving slaughter while driving under the influence. Officials say that speed and impairment are a factor in the crash.

Medrano was booked in the West Valley Detention Center with a deposit of $ 100,000.

Fundren's family said that he was about to complete the nursing school and received an honor. A funeral is set for May 17th.
