Apple Watch Series 11: What the rumors reveal about Apple's smartwatch future

The next Apple Watch (or watches) are away from celebrating their public debuts, but the rumors already buzzed about what could come to the following generations of watches. From foldable displays to In screen cameras and advanced health sensors, we set off the most likely and the most fetched Watch forecasts.

Apple Watch Series 11 publication date

Unless there is a massive mistake in the universe, I have good authority that in September we can expect the Apple Watch Series 11 next to the rumored iPhone 17. Apple has announced a new Apple Watch every year since his debut in 2014. With the exception of the first generation model, everyone was launched at the annual iPhone event in September.

What is less predictable is the release date. Traditionally, the new model will be sold between a few days and a few weeks after the keynote (which we expect for 2025), although delays were delayed in recent years due to production problems. It is also unclear how newly imposed tariffs affect the start and the price of the new clock in 2025.

The Apple Watch Series 11 will follow the Apple Watch Series 10 of the last year, which received a Cnet editor's Choice Award. Apple also sells other models, such as the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which was released in 2023 and Apple Watch SE that fell in 2022. While Apple says nothing about future products, we are lucky that there are numerous rumors for all Apple Watch models. The following say that Leakers and Apple analysts can say that we can expect the next Apple Watch (ES).

How many Apple watches will we get this year?

We definitely have a series 11, and there is a good chance that we will see an updated ultra and se model. The Apple Watch Ultra and the cheaper SE line have not followed a predictable upgrade cycle, but the absence of last year could be a strong indication that 2025 could be the year in which we all get back. Series 10 put in the spotlight in 2024 when the only smartwatch was announced this year.

Apple Watch Design

With the redesigned redesign of the last year, Series 11 will probably look similar to the series 10 and have the same large rand-to-edge screen (42 mm and 46 mm), which is lighter, lighter and thinner than its predecessors. All design optimizations would probably be slightly and driven by new technologies under the bonnet.

According to Macrumors, the Apple Watch could receive an energy-efficient screen, possibly an LTPO display with a higher resolution and better brightness that could help improve the battery life. This could be reserved for the higher Ultra 3, which is probably retained its original design.

However, the more delightful SE could see a more extensive design overhaul. It would still have the body of series 8 and, according to Gurman, receive several upgrades from series 10 like an ever-on display.

Apple Watch Processor

Apple usually picks up the processor with every new smartwatch, so this time we should see an Apple S11 chip for at least series 11 and Ultra 3. The Ultra 3 is also rumored to receive satellite confectionality and 5G support. According to Gurman, that Applman probably does not go in series 11. See Series 9.

If there is one thing on the wish list of everyone, it is a better battery life. Series 10 introduced a faster charge – in just 30 minutes from 0% to 80% compared to 90 minutes in previous models – but there is space for improvements in the battery capacity itself.

Although there are no rumors that indicate that new Apple watches have a longer battery life, I really hope that Apple appeals to the battery because its smartwatches fall back. Some Android models use two chip sets to share tasks and optimize the battery life. I would like to see how Apple uses a similar strategy and finally increases the battery life for two full days in a single load for regular models. I hope that the ultra, which is currently receiving a full 72 hours under the load, increases faster charging and its battery life to four full days.

Apple Watch Price

Based on the current prices, the Apple Watch Series 11 399 US dollars for the 42 -mm aluminum version and 429 US dollars could cost for the 46 -mm version, whereby upgrades for cover material and LTE connectivity cost extra. It is not just to be seen that the tariffs play a role in pricing this year, which cannot be seen yet. The other question is what the most expensive variant will be-festival gold, diamond defender Hermès, someone?

Apple Watch Health and Fitness Upgrades

There was a persistent rumor about the blood pressure tracking that finally comes to the Apple Watch, but it is unclear when it will be ready. According to the March report by Gurman, Apple has already tested the function in his smartwatch, but has been problems. Other wearables health companies such as Omron and Med-Watch have proven that it is possible to measure blood pressure from the wrist. However, if these functions are added, this would probably require new sensors and a bulky design. It would also be less precise than dedicated health devices such as Omron and Messgraseline such as the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra (which is not supported on Samsung watches in the USA).

The glucose monitoring was also thrown into the mix, but according to Gurman this would be even further below. Finally, the feature of the Blood Oxygen (SPO2), which debuted in series 6, is probably not a comeback this year, since Apple still navigates legal problems in connection with him.

Health and fitness trainer

The Apple Watch could be to improve its health and fitness game with more personalized coaching, possibly debut the 11 series and then also lead to compatible Apple watches. According to Gurman, Apple has worked on a large health app revision, the mulberry project-named project, that would bring AI recommendations and implementable knowledge for health and fitness to users. The new “Health Plus” app would probably arrive as part of an iOS 19 update that works together with Watchos 11 to collect and process data. Although it is still unclear which devices it would support, we could throw a first look on the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2025.

Health Coaching is something that other competitors such as Garmin and Fitbit offer via their platforms via Premium (Paid) nonnements. It is not clear whether Apple would calculate additional fees for these functions for these functions or whether they would be integrated into the standard health app at no additional costs.

Watchos 11 brings UI and AI upgrades to the clock

Apple can take a note from Google by refreshing its cutting design in iOS 19 and Watchos 11. Google's new material 3 expressive will arrive on Android -Smartwatches with Wear OS 6, and Apple could plan a similar visual update on its devices.

In a Bloomberg report, Gurman suggests that Apple's Revamp could borrow elements from the user interface of its vision of its vision per headset (Vision OS) and focus on translucent blisters, glass -like effects and softer aesthetics.

In the same report, Gurman also mentioned that Apple Intelligence, including the rumored AI coaching, could find its way to the Apple Watch. While the current Apple Watch line-up has no processors that are powerful enough to do AI tasks in the device, the iPhone can help relieve part of the processing.

Additional future Apple Watch surprises

There is another rumor that the Apple Watch could get a camera-not for selfies (after all is not in 2015), but for AI-based image recognition. With the publication of Apple Intelligence, Apple has introduced a visual search tool on the iPhone that uses the camera to provide relevant information on objects and locations.

According to a report by Gurman, Apple is investigating this option, and even if the company decides to advance the technology, it would probably only go to the Apple Watch in the 2027 models. For this start, however, it is not expected that Watchos 12 indicates what type of AI integration will arrive. In contrast, Watchos 11 are missing all Apple Intelligence functions.

Watchos 12 may also provide us with information in the direction in which Apple Apple Intelligence takes on the clock and could also point out new hardware functions. The new operating system is expected to be presented at the annual developer conference of Apple, WWDC 2025, which is planned for the week of June 5.

Foldable

An even further recorded note points to a foldable Apple clock two Cameras. A current Apple patent, which was first uncovered by Pulled Apple and published in March by the US patent and brand office, describes one Apple Watch design with a foldable screen and another with a dual screen display that either folds or slips out. The additional screens could give the Apple Watch more properties to expand their functionality and make it less dependent on the iPhone. The same patent also indicates the possibility of two cameras on this dual screen clock for AI processing or video calls. Apple filt is often good before a related technology appears in an actual product. Even if this concept lives the light of the day, we do not expect it to celebrate its public debut soon.
