The suspect was shot and killed by the police after a fatal gym in Las Vegas

Las Vegas (KSNV) – On Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received several reports of shots in the Las Vegas Athletic Club in the 1700 block of the North Rainbow Boulevard.

Officers who arrived at the crime scene came across a suspect armed with a firearm who stood at the door.

The suspect fled and prompted the officials to relieve their weapons and beat them.

The suspect was taken into custody and the officials provided help until the medical staff arrived.

It was taken to the university medicine center, where he was later declared dead.

In the gym, the officials discovered a deceased victim of a shooting.

Two additional victims were brought to a local hospital, one in critical condition and the other suffering from life -threatening injuries.

During the examination, detectives learned from another victim who had transported himself to a hospital with non -life -threatening injuries.

This incident marks the third shootout from 2025.

According to the LVMPD directive, the identities of the officials involved will be published after 48 hours.
