Two killed in frontal crash on Interstate 90 – Post Bulletin

Lewiston, Minn.-Zwei people were killed in a frontal collision on Interstate 90 in Winona County on Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred on Friday around 3:30 p.m. near Fremont Township, about 5 miles south of Lewiston, Minnesota.

According to a report by the State Patrol in Minnesota State Patrol, a 2022 Buick -Enlave and a 2023 Toyota RAV4 collided in the lanes of Interstate 90. The MSP reported to the east that the Buick traveled west and the Toyota in the east was directed. Further information on the crash was not immediately available on Friday evening.

The Buick was driven by the 83-year-old Hadley Edwin Thompson from Pine Island. The Toyota was driven by Warren Russell Hacker, 70 from Appleton, Wisconsin. Both drivers were killed in the crash.

The passenger in the Toyota, 71-year-old Patricia Rose Hacker, was brought to Saint Mary's hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries.

The Sheriff's office in Winona County, the Lewiston police and the fire brigade of Lewiston and the ambulance also reacted to the crash.
