Dr. Comisha Clark Death: Family and friends mourn Spartan College for Aviation and Technology Dean that were shot at the workplace

Inglewood, California (KABC) – Family and friends express the death of the Dean of Spartan College in Inglewood.

The police say Dr. Comeisha Clark was killed when a former security guard at school opened the fire in what she describes as an act of violence at the workplace.

Relatives say that Comisha was an emerging star in her community and her field.

“Passed too early,” said Dr. Bettye Clark and referred to her granddaughter, Comisha.

A protector came to death on May 2 on the campus of the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology in Inglewood.

It happened after she had recently been promoted to the Dean of College.

“I don't understand what happened, but I'll just say 'I love you',” said Bettye. “'I love you', that's all I can say.”

Jesse Figueroa, a 40-year-old former security officer on college, was arrested and charged with the fatal shootings for murder. He also charged with attempted murder to violate another college employee.

A former security officer was charged with the death of the Dean of the Spartan College for Air and Technology in Inglewood, the public prosecutor said on Tuesday.

Now family and friends are born on prayer in their time of grief. Bettye says her granddaughter was a rock for many students on campus, of which she fears that she will be lost without her instructions, inspiration and her warm sympathy.

“You have lost a good friend, a caring person. A lively that I use this word again and again, very lively, fashionable, loving person,” said Bettye.

“Comisha has a talent to reach you and hear you when you are silent. So she knows that she gives way to you, and she made it consistent for my life,” said Maya King, one of Comesha's close friends.

“Nice heart, she was loved by everyone,” said Ashley Faitenhammer. “Wherever she went, she shone.”

For family and friends, the river of pain is deep, knowing that Comisha had more mountains to climb in her search for performance, and she was on the way before her life was shortened.

“She wanted to be president of an HBCU – a historically black university and university,” said Bettye.
