Woman who is charged with an unsecured weapon death of 4-year-old in St. Louis

St. Louis, Mon (first alarm 4)-a woman is charged with endangering her 4-year-old daughter after leaving her little children at home with unsecured firearms.

On Friday, the public prosecutor's office of St. Louis accused 35-year-old Dyell Miller that he led to deaths and the first degree at the first degree due to a threat of death. An arrest warrant without binding was issued for their arrest.

The St. Louis police said that Miller left their four children under 10 years in their house in Thrush Avenue unattended their four years in their house on September 2, 2024. As she was gone, one of the children gave access to an unsecured weapon.

Another child called 911 to report that their siblings had been shot. The girl was taken to a hospital in which she died.

The police said Miller told the officials that the weapon belonged to her, but she thought she was in a castle. According to the police, the officers found another unsecured weapon in a bed head part and several secure firearms in a castle.

An initial court appearance was not determined.
