Samsung One UI 8 Update Release Timeline, justified devices, new functions and changes, check the latest leaks here

Samsung is preparing for an earlier publication of his One UI 8 update based on Android 16, provided that you start this summer.

Samsung accelerates things this year with the highly expected UI 8-update based on Android 16. In a recently official video, Samsung VP Minsok Kang confirmed that the One UI 8 rollout will begin this summer. This is earlier than usual, since Samsung generally releases its large software updates in October or November. Since Google Android 16 starts in June 2025, Samsung is compensating for its update time axis accordingly.
The One UI 8 Beta program is expected to begin at the end of May or early June 2025, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. New folding blades galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7-flip 7-walls are expected in July and are charged with a UI 8. The final stable version will probably be introduced to the top devices such as the S25, S24 and Z Fold 6/Flip 6 to August or September, followed by mid-range telephones.

The S24 series receives seven years of operating system updates, so that a UI 8 is guaranteed for this and newer models. Include authorized phones:

  • Galaxy S series: S25, S24, S23, S22 and S21 FE models
  • Galaxy Z series: Z Fold 7/6/5/4, Z Flip 7/6/5/4
  • Galaxy A/M/F series: A55, A35, M55, M35, F55 and others with Android 13 or higher
  • Galaxy Tabs: Tab S10/S9/S8 series, Tab A9, Tab Active5 Pro

The update focuses on performance and more intelligent AI. The most important highlights include:

  • Ai zoom: Improves the clarity of the image when they are enlarged in photos with low resolutions
  • Advanced protocol video: Pro-degree video recording for Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6 and more
  • Now short expansion: iPhone-like pill-shaped notification tool that comes to other devices
  • Fast stocks -ui -updualization: Send and receive tabs separate, improved visibility controls
  • KI camera tools: Portrait studio, audio -radier rubber, custom KI filter, movement photos
  • Visual overhaul: Rounded symbols, lively colors, smooth animations, new layout for quick settings

A UI 8 beta update

Users in the USA, South Korea, India and Germany can join the Beta via the Samsung members. But be warned – it can contain errors, so support your data before diving.
