Maple Leaf's Panthers concluded in game 6, avoid excretion

Auston Matthews and Max Pacioretty scored in the third period for the Maple Leafs, which are number 1 of the Atlantic Division.

Toronto had approved 13 goals in the last three games in the series (all losses).

“There is always pressure,” said Maple Leaf coach Craig Berube. “We came out and were thrown, were on trot, played our game. We played a simple game tonight and were determined. That strikes me more than anything. We did all the little things right.”

Sergei Bobrovsky scored 15 parades for the Panthers, who are the No. 3 seeds of the Atlantic.

Florida ended the game with 81 attempts to shoot, 31 of which were blocked by Toronto.

“We didn't get the puck there early enough, but we launched it a few times,” said Panther's coach Paul Maurice. “I thought we were too late with the puck.
