NBA fans are stunned because Knicks have appeared for their first conference final since 2000

After years of irrelevance and dysfunction, the New York Knicks finally have their chance of success, and it is at a time that nobody saw. They were outsiders to start the series against the incumbent, defended NBA champions (Boston Celtics), but with their victory in game 6 tonight, the Knicks officially booked their place in the Eastern Conference final in 25 years.

Four starters scored in two numbers for New York, including Jalen Brunson (23 points), Mikal Bridges (22 points), OG Anunoby (23 points) and Karl Anthony cities (21 points). They held the Celtics at only 36.0% to 81 points and held Jaylen Brown at 40.0% shooting on only 20 points.

When the Knicks drove through the second half, the Madison Square Garden summed up from emotions from fans who were ready to come to the celebration. New York not only performed for the final of the conference, but also dominated the Celtics with their largest playoff victory (119-81, 38 points).

“I can't believe what I see,” wrote a fan shocked. “The Knicks go to the final of the Eastern Conference.”

Overall, the fans were still shocked and saw the kinks so dominant, but most agree that they have proven something in the series. They are no longer the laughing stock of the league, and now they could be one of the last teams that remain in the NBA playoffs.

“If you are not a Knicks fan, you just don't understand it, man. We all go through so much in our personal life,” wrote a Knicks fan in an emotional contribution. “The Knicks who play like this gives us a feeling of peace and happiness, especially an escape. This victory that comes to the ECF means all of us as a whole.”

The feeling was a pure joy in the Madison Square Garden tonight, and the internet was absolutely flooded with pictures of Happy Knick's fans around the world. While the Celtics had some injuries that kept them back, the Knick's recognition deserves that they picked up two amazing comebacks early in the series and then closed with a blowout in game 6.

“Congratulations to the Knicks. Great series,” wrote Keith Smith. “Taking control with the two comebacks and ran from the ground tonight. I look forward to seeing Knicks-Pacers. Should be a funny series.”

With a view to the future, it will be a dog fuck in the Eastern Conference final. Tyresian Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers are already waiting and they are ready to give the Knicks their most toughest challenge so far.

“Pacers Knick will be a war,” wrote a fan on X. “A real 50/50 series with a great long-term and short-term history. Indy's pace jumps out for me, but the Knicks are in a groove, man.”

The New York Knicks may not have a-animal superstar like Nikola Jokic or Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but they have depth and versatility in every position with established all-stars such as Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges.

Above all, head coach Tom Thibodeau has the boys who play the right basketball mark that should bring everyone involved in both ends of the soil. Even after winning 52 games of the regular season, nobody expected the Knicks to beat the Celtics, but they actually completed the surprise and are now on the right track for one of their best seasons in franchise history.
