Fernando Alonso pays for the death of a long -time ally

Fernando Alonso paid his long -time Ally Fabrizio Borra to the death of the Italian last weekend.

Alonso announced the death of the 64 -year -old Italian on social media.

The duo had worked together in Minardi in 2001 since Alonso's Rookie season, with Borra reworked the Spaniard to Renault, McLaren, Ferrari, Alpine and Aston Martin.

Alonso spoke about Borra's death and paid a warm homage to his loyal right man.

“It was a difficult week, a few hard days for everyone who worked with him for many, many years,” Alonso considered the media, including the media Racingnews365.

“I started in Minardi with Fabrizio in 2001 and after 24 years together we obviously did so many things together, experienced experiences and around the world, so it is very sad.

“He was a man with strength and commitment who was very striking in all disciplines.

“He worked with [Marco] Pantani in cycling and some other great cyclists, in television programs and for athletes here in Italy on the Olympic level.

“In all sports, he was able to give the athlete and the community something special.

“He will be remembered and this is very important for a person who dedicates his life to sport.”
