Moorhead man is guilty of the accident who killed a woman, dog – inforum

Moorhead – A man from Moorhead announced on Friday, May 16, guilty of arranging a deadly drunken driving accident, in which a woman and her dog were killed at the beginning of this year.

The 28-year-old Christopher Pink admitted to the district court Clay County for a count of a criminal vehicle murder when the 43-year-old Jennifer Liz Watson was killed. The collision occurred on the US Highway 75 north of Moorhead when Pink drove his pickup to the south and drove frontally on Watson's vehicle.

Watson's friend said Wday News that she apparently made a short supply and noticed that she had left the food in the microwave.

For the first time it was announced in court that the blood alcohol content of Pink was 0.345 at the time of the crash – more than four times the legal limit for journeys.

“He doesn't remember the crash. He doesn't remember much at noon that day,” said Caitlin Hurlock, the deputy lawyer of Clay County.

Pink has stayed in prison since the crash. His lawyer asked the judge to allow the Pink Temporary release to visit his patient before the conviction. This request was rejected after a recommendation by the prosecutors.

“Mr. Pink did not give Ms. Watson's family this opportunity,” said Hurlock.

The public prosecutor said Pink could have up to 15 years in prison and found that she also charged him because of the death of Watson's dog if the law was allowed.

Pink is to be convicted in July.
