Knicks is doing the defense of NBA Champion Celtics to achieve the first conference final for 25 years

The New York Knicks have been back in the office in the Eastern Conference finale for the first time since Bill Clinton.

With a dominant victory from 119-81 game 6 against the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics, the Knicks rose to the conference final and set fire to the passionate fan base of New York to a fire of the celebrations.

The Knicks were heavy outsiders who went into the series because the defending champions were the second best record in the Eastern Conference under 61-21, 10 games better than the 51-31 kinks.

But the Knicks took the first two games of the series in Boston in Boston and overwhelmed 20 points deficits at the end of the second half to change the outlook of the series.

The Celtics took game 3 in a one-sided 115-93 game and looked at the track to expand the series by the first four quarters of game 4 with a solid lead. The Knicks will compete against the Indiana Pacers, against which they lost in last year's conference to return to the NBA final for the first time since 1999.
