Historical Taylor Swift announcement made on Friday

In the meantime, The Original Red (2012) also crossed 100 million streams in 2025 and marked their 12th album to reach this benchmark – all without publishing a new music this year. To date, the album has collected over six billion streams on Spotify – and the number continues.

When it comes to the Eras tour, it makes sense why Taylor Swift wants to have a break from the spotlight. With their concerts that span the globe – everywhere, the Travis Kelce supported with several NFL games during the Super Bowl run of the chiefs – they seemed to be everywhere.

Cameras followed her constantly and her name dominated the headlines. However, this without interrupting the exposure led to a really historical year for the global pop icon.
