The man gives guilt for anti-Asian hate criminal attacks in older neighbors | Dishes

A man has guilty to a hate crash attack on his older Asian neighbor.

Christian Lentz said guilty, but on April 21, mentally ill because he motivates a break -in of the influence of living by presuming or hatred against the victim and abuse of an older person with death or considerable damage that is motivated by bias or hatred.

The authorities said Lentz attacked his Filipino-American neighbor Amadeo Quindara, now 77, in Quindara's garage in 2023. The day before, Quindara previously said in an interview, Lentz said Quindara and his wife to speak English while the couple in Tagalog spoke to their Filipino neighbors.

On May 30th, Quindara claimed that Lentz had threatened to “put him on a ventilator”, and repeatedly hit him in the face and hit him on the floor. Quindara's wife found him in a pool of his own blood. A brain hematoma was later diagnosed.

Lentz's conviction is planned for July 21. His plea agreement shows that he is isolated by the general population in prison until a psychiatrist or psychologist decides that he no longer needs a “acute mental health care”. When he is accepted into the general population, his plea requires that he receive mental treatment.

He was instructed to undergo mental health evaluation, but was competently found in July 2023.
