John Alite has big plans for English, New Jersey, a small hamlet

But not everyone is sure that they want Alite (62), with a co -no -municipal matters in the city with around 2,350 people, where they were appointed council member at the beginning of this year and will be confirmed at the beginning of next month.

The reason is an unusual background of Alite – over which he is open – as a former member of the Gambino Crime family with a long history of violence, murder and blackmail.

For Alite, Alite once served as a top -“earner” for John “The Teflon Don” Gotti and later for his son John Gotti Jr., but after he was picked up in Brazil, where he fought against the delivery for two years, Alite and the younger Gotti guilty and owed himself against damage, two Murder, including two Murder.

But in his own detection, Alite is a changed man and plans to help the small community in New Jersey for the next few years and not to chaos as in previous years. Alite's is a convincing story. “Besides, I'm no longer a criminal – I am on the mission to do things right,” he adds.

After Alite was appointed Council by the Mayor of Englishtown, Daniel Francisco, there was a controversial meeting after the resignation of a series of council members last year, in which Alite was accused of welfare fraud.

But the prosecutor was depressed by the residents. “He started a new life!” One said while another said: “We don't want to hear anything about it!” According to the USA, the man who mentioned the allegations admitted today that he worked for Alite's former boss Gotti Jr.

Compared to dinner, in which Alite may eat for lunch, a shop owner advises a reporter to use Vaseline to block her ears. Alite can speak and in the gravelly Brooklynesen of his mother tongue. In fact, he can speak so much that he organizes a popular podcast, catches me on the run, wrote several books and performed in numerous documentary films, including the latest Netflix series Get Gotti.

However, the history of the Gambino members who go straight ahead is not very promising.

“I live in a community and I want the community to be safe because I know that it is white. But there are four cannabis pharmacies in English, with licensing for a fifth, twice as many as the number of bars. Does it have to be a Hochmarge business? “I wasn't on the advice back then,” he says, “but I think two would be enough.”

When asked whether there is fentanyl dealers in English, Alite gives a convincing NR. He is a supporter of fentanyl dealers who are involved in fatal overdoses with murder. He points out that when he was a dealer – “I wish I wasn't” – and was asked for dope, cocaine or mescaline: “We didn't put any other things in”.

It is a logic style that penetrates Alite's thinking: it was not good to do bad things, but at least these things were honestly done, mainly for people who did bad things. He is also a Republican. He has hit Trump several times and how Trump sees the federal government as a shakedown operation with a talent for flying over and pockets.

“John Gotti SR, whom I knew as a child, always told me all the time: the government is the mafia. I would laugh and thought he was crazy, but later I found out that he was absolutely right,” he says. “But I was just young and naive.”

But what will English look with alite that were chosen in it? “It doesn't look like a beautiful, picturesque Jersey city,” he says. “I want the lights in the old style, cobblestones, restaurants, a florist, a Dunkin 'Donuts. What did the old mayor and the council do all these years?”

If he is elected to the council, English can expect a big upgrade under the guidance of a man who knows both sides. “People ask me why you want to be politicians and I tell them: because most of them are corrupt and now not, so I can see what they do and I will fight what they do.”
