The crews react to Glykolleck and then shoot at the Trumbull High School – NBC Connecticut

Firefighters reacted twice between Thursday evening and Friday morning to the Trumbull High School. First it was for a gly collar, then for an electrical fire lesson later. The school had a delay of three hours on Friday.

Voluntary firefighters responded to a hazmat call at the High School at 8:24 p.m. on Thursday and, according to Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company, No. 1, Inc.

Supt. Martin Semmel said that a whistle with glycol for one of the HLK units failed on the first floor near the ribbon room and caused considerable chaos.

The firefighters reduce the leak and put on dangers, while the HLK maintenance was closed the HLK system.

School officials said the Trumbull fire brigade had found that the building was safe and a restoration company was called and the situation evaluated.

It was found that the restoration company, which worked with the Custodial team, cleaned up the glycol and that the school can start after a late schedule, said Semmel.

Less than six hours after the first call, on Friday at 3:04 a.m., a call from a fireman from Nichols who worked at the high school in the high school came with a smoke report in the building and the dispatchers also received an alarm of smoke detectors at school.

The crews then found smoke from a small electric fire from a power cable and deleted the fire.

The fire brigade said that the firefighter's office replied to both calls.
