During the last training session for the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, Lando Norris led another McLaren 1-2, which repressed the teammate Oscar Piatri and the Red Bull rival Max Verstappen.

Norris worked in an unusual meeting at the Imola event location in a best time of 1m 14,897.

In the end, the McLarens kept the two upper positions with late improvements at the softest red -marked rubber, while the most powerful round came on the yellow connection.

There were a few incidents in an hour of running, including a trip through the gravel for Pace-Setter Norris, a shoot for Liam Lawson and a near-miss in which Isack Hadjar and Carlos Sainz were involved in the box exit.
