Kevin Bacon Horror Comedy series 'The Bondsman' canceled at Prime Video

A little more than a month after the premiere in Prime Video with one and only season, Blumhouses horror comedy series “The Bondsman” with Kevin Bacon has already been canceled.

The first season of the eight episode could not work with the audience, which unfortunately is the fate of many television programs at a time that is flooded with new content every week.

Was “The Bondsman” something good, maybe you wonder? Well, Meagan gave him 2.5 stars in her bloody disgusting review and found that the series “is not a respected personality”.

“It is a series that tries to be a horror comedy, a family drama and a violent crime thriller at once, but without making time or finesse, making some of it coherent or committed,” writes Meagan in her review. “The concept behind the series is strong and still has potential. We hope that” The Bondsman “, if you are renewed, will make something of substance.”

Unfortunately, “The Bondsman” will not return for a second season.

Kevin Bacon played in “The Bondsman” as Hub Halloran, a murdered bounty hunter who was back from the dead after rising from the devil to catch and return demons that have escaped from the hell of Hell. By waning these demons with the help and obstacle of his alienated family, Hub learns how his own sins have condemned his soul – which urges him to look for a second chance in life, love and country music.

The series was created by Grainger Davidwith Erik Oson serve as a show runner.
