Saul's Grand Slam emphasizes sixth place in six runs when Bryant Umbc 7-1 defeated

Baltimore – Charlie Sauls Grand Slam in the first career emphasized a sixth inning of six runs when the Bryant Baseball team defeated 7: 1 UMBC with 7: 1 in the first game of the America East Doubleheader on Saturday.
The bulldogs improve to 32-17-1 overall and 17-6 in America East play with their 21^st Win in the last 24 games. Bryant is now 15-2 in the last 17 league games and has won his last six league series.
The first game on Saturday was 1-1 on the sixth before the Bulldogs broke out for six runs to break the tie. A single and a security squeeze placed the first two inning runs of the inning before Saul started a Grand Slam to the left field to make it 7-1.

• UMBC distributed the first run of the game to the selection of a field player at the top of third place. Robbins did a great job to limit the retriever to one run after they unloaded the bases with you.

• In the sixth, Gavin Noriega was hit by a pitch and Drew Wyers followed with a single to the left. Pat d'Amico the tie broke with an RBI single to the left in the middle and Gavin Greger Followed by a security squeeze to make it 3-1. Durand was then intentionally run and Matt d'amato drew a comprehensive walk to load the bases. Saul then hit the first place from UMBC reliever Sam Bell over the left field wall for a Grand Slam and a 7-1 Bryant lead.
