Denis Rodríguez, a spokesman for the JSPO, announced the Associated Press that hours before Marquez arrived in the salon, a man as a delivery driver issued and pretended to have a “very expensive” gift for the influencer.

The man who wore a mask and was accompanied by another man on a motorcycle told a woman in the salon that she had to deliver the gift personally, reported the AP.

After Marquez had arrived in Blossom and learned that the men had asked her about her, she became anxious and explained that she was “concerned” on the Tikest stream shortly before her killing, according to Outlet.

“Maybe they wanted to kill me. They wanted to come and take me away or what?” She said in the live stream according to AP.

The masked man and the motorcyclist returned to the Jalalco Salon minutes after the expression of their fears, and what they did next, the public prosecutor led to the assumption that they were met.

One of the men asked if Marquez was in the salon, Rodríguez told the AP: “So he doesn't seem to know her.”

Rodríguez replied on Saturday, May 17th, not immediately to people's request for comments.
