Child dies after the crash of Blount County

Blount County, Ala. -A 10-year-old child died after an accident with two vehicles, who appeared on Friday, May 16, around 5:06 p.m. Five other people were injured in the crash.

Alabama State Troopers said that the child was critically injured when the Honda Civic 2009 was driven from Addison in a 2007 Ford Explorer by Richard E. Rucker Jr., 67.

They said, rucker and Annette Dean Clark Rucker (60) from Addison, a passenger in the Ford Explorer, were injured and brought to Cullman regionally.

The 10-year-old child was brought to a local hospital for medical treatment, where the child later suffered injuries on Saturday, May 17th.

The driver of the Honda Civic, Tabbatha Shanae Christine Jackson, 34, from Hayden, was injured for treatment and brought to the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). Two other young people, a 10-year-old and 15-year-old, who were also passengers in the Honda Civic, were injured and taken to a hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred in Blount County 55 near the Black Road, about 2 miles north of Blountsville, in Blount County.

As soldiers of the Alea Highway Patrol Division of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (Aleea), nothing is still available.
