Jockey: Nik Juarez | Trainer: D. Wayne Lukas

Career highlight: faded late and took 16th place in the Kentucky Derby

Funny fact: coach D. Wayne Lukas has won the prevention seven times. His first came with Codex in 1980. His youngest was with Seize The Gray last year.

No. 4 Heart of honor (12-1)

  • Jockey: Saffie Osborne | Trainer: Jamie A. Osborne
  • Career height: He was second behind Admire Daytona in the VAE derby in his last race on April 5.
  • Funny fact: without question the international horse in this area. The parents of Heart of Honor come from Kentucky and Chile. He was trained outside of London, sold in France and earned his strip race in Dubai.

  • Jockey: Raul Mena | Trainer: Michael E. Gorham
  • Career height: won the Federico Tesio in Laurel Park on April 19 to secure a place in the checkness.
  • Funny fact: This is the first prevention for Gorham and paid Billy's owner group.

No. 6 River Thames (9-2)

  • Jockey: Irad Ortiz Jr. | Trainer: Todd A. Plletcher
  • Career height: It was second of sovereignty in the fountain of youth missions.
  • Funny fact: Todd Plletcher is 0-10 of all time in the prevention.
