LVAC mourns after the shoot Murders

One day after a fatal shooting in one of his gym, the Las Vegas Athletic Club mourns its own.

Edgar Quinonez was described on Saturday in LVAC -Social -Media posts as “beloved part of the LVAC family for 15 years”.

The social media posts did not expressly say that Quinonez was the person who was shot in the northwest of Las Vegas in the LVAC fitness studio on Friday, but they stated that he died on Friday.

“Yesterday the LVAC family lost a dear friend and teammate Edgar Quinonez,” said the contributions on several different social media platforms.

By Saturday morning, the Coroner's Office of the Clark County had not released the identity of the killed person, nor had the identity of the person from whom the Sagittarius was, the civil servant of the Metropolitan Police Department. The police have not published any names either.

In addition to the person killed in the gym, three other people were wounded with one person in a critical condition, Metro said in a press release on Friday.

The first shootout occurred in the LVAC on 1725 N. Rainbow Boulevard near Lake Mead Boulevard around 1 p.m. on Friday.

Frightened fitness studio ran for their lives when the shooter opened fire. After leaving the gym, the police said, he was shot by police officers in Las Vegas.

Two of the injured victims were brought to the University Medical Center. In addition to the person who was in a critical condition, the other person did not suffer life -threatening injuries.

Another person went to a local hospital with non -life -threatening injuries, the police said. Scott Curbs, a Umc spokesman, said four people were brought there on Friday afternoon.
