Ex-Lakers, Clipper Guard wants to make NBA comeback

Patrick Beverley was an unrestricted free agent after the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers in the 2024 Playoffs. In July of this last off -season in 2023, Beverley signed at the Philadelphia 76ers to strengthen his bank from Joel Embbiid's MVP season.

In the midst of some questions about Embiid's health, the 76 gave Beverley to the Bucks in February 2024.

However, there were also bad moments and unfortunately a permanent picture for Beverley. In game 6 of the defeat of the Bucks in the first round, he threw a basketball on the fans twice behind the bank, which led to another incident after the game. Beverley refused to answer a question from Malinda Adams from ESPN because she had not subscribed to his podcast, which led to a suspension with four games.

Since Beverley signed in July 2024 at Hapoel Tel Aviv from the Israeli basketball premier League, but was suspended in February 2025 and later separated from the club.

Now the former Clipper and Lakers Guard is looking for another chance in the NBA and has made his own show “Pat Bev Pod” to discuss the situation outside the season.

“I'll make my entrance to the NBA next year, I miss it,” said Beverley. “I met a few GMS, a few coaches … I said, listen, just invite me to the training camp. I don't need any favors … just invite myself to the training camp, I'll make the rest,” he continued.

With many teams who are looking for physicality and defense, a team could give a chance to give Beverley a chance, even if his former NBA stint has run.
