Sources – Celtics' Jaylen Brown has a part of the meniscus tear

The Star Star of Boston Celtics, Jaylen Brown, ended the season with a partially torn meniscus, said sources ESPN.

Brown had played in pain in the last month of the regular season and the playoffs, which was completed with the defeat on Friday against the New York Knicks in the semi -finals of the Eastern Conference.

He will be rated this week to determine whether surgery is required.

ESPN previously reported that Brown started to maintain pain injections in his knee. These injections started in March, said sources.

Brown missed the last three regular season games of the Celtics with the injury, but was able to change his game and play pain to be available for the playoffs, where he achieved an average of 22.3 points and 7.2 rebounds in 34 minutes per game.

After the loss on Friday in New York, Brown noticed that he had dealt with some physical problems.

“I'm not doing excuses,” he said to reporters. “Obviously it is difficult how we went out tonight and tonight, but as we personally ended the year, how I ended the year and held through a few physical things through which I fought, I'm proud of our group.”

The Celtics lost the star striker Jayson Tatum against a torn Achilles tendon in game 4. Center Kristaps Porzingis has also been hindered by the continuing effects of an illness in the past few months.
