10-year-old killed, 5 more injured in the crash with several vehicles

Blount County, Ala. (Wbrc) – One person was killed and five more were injured after a crash with several vehicles took place on Friday, May 16, in Blount County.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (Aleea), the accident occurred with two cars after the vehicles occurred near the Black Road on Friday evening at 5:06 a.m.

According to Alea, a 10-year-old was critically injured and taken to a local hospital, where he unfortunately died of her injuries on Saturday, March 17th.

Five other people, 67-year-old Richard E. Rucker Jr., 60-year-old Annette Dean Clark Rucker, 34-year-old Tabbatha Shane Christine Jackson, a 15-year-old, and another 10-year-old were also injured.

Both Richard and Annette Rucker were brought to the Cullman Regional Medical Center. Jackson was brought to the UAB hospital and the 15- and 10-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
