Victoria Justice reflects the surprisingly dark fallout of a simple memes.

The Zoey 101 Alaun discussed the counter -reaction that she had received after she has become viral for a reappeared video in which she talked to her Victorious Costars Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies and Daniella Monet.

“It was definitely one thing that was that the internet hate Victoria Justice at the moment,” said the actress in a recent episode of Mythical Kitchens Last meals. “There was a time for so long on the Internet that I have the feeling that people hated me. It was one thing. It can really be a ruthless place … MOB mentality is such a real thing.”

Justice caused the negativity with which she treated “The Meme Thing” – this fateful viral video, which was edited from a 2010 Pop star Interview and recirculated in 2017. In the video, the four actresses playfully discuss their perceptions of the personality of the other.

“One thing she doesn't know about Ariana Grande is that she literally sings everything,” says Gillies in the original clip. “How, she started to forget how to speak in her own voice because she sings everything. And it's a good thing because she has a beautiful voice.”

After Monet steps in to say that Gillies often sings, justice hits “I think we're all singing.”

In the video, all three of her Costars agree, but some spectators interpreted the clip as a judiciary that tried to remove a passive-aggressively from Grande. However, the actress says – and the context of the original clip indicates – that she simply made a broad statement about the dynamics of the group.

“First of all, it's factual. We sang everyone, okay?” Justice said in her new Last meals Interview. “I think the media outlet that has released it made this whole shoot. Man, I don't know that it must have been a very slow news day for you because I swear with God, I think when you published, I don't even know how many years later it was.

She said that the vitriol she experienced was overwhelming. “I have all this hate. So much hatred!” She remembered. “I said, 'What did I do? What did I do? I sit here and live my life and try to work, to live, I don't know.' It was wild. ”

The actress continued to detail the extent of the counter reaction. “I have so much hatred, age. I have as threats to murder,” she said. “I felt bad for my mother because she looked at all of these things online, and she said she freaked out. And I like a little: 'Oh, whatever. People will say what they will say.' But yes, it really took your own life and became one thing.

Justice now considers the clip to be “fun” and no longer pays attention to the attention it receives. “I don't care,” she said. “I'm in the joke. I even say it myself all the time. You know whatever. I don't care.”

Victorious followed a group of students of a fictional school for performing arts. Justice portrayed the protagonist Tori Vega, while Grande played her Airhead friend Cat Valentine. The show ran on Nickelodeon for four seasons from 2010 to 2013.
