Firefighter killed in Kentucky while he reacts to devastating tornado

A number of heavy storms moved over two dozen people on Friday evening in the middle west, including a firefighter from Laurel County Kentucky.

Austin Chaney from Storm Center 7 is in Laurel County, Kentucky, who frees the damage live in the damage to the damage News Center 7 at 11.

Laurel County's fire brigade released on her social media and said Major Leslie Roger Leatherman was killed when he reacted to the tornado.

Leatherman worked as a civil servant for 39 years, says the fire brigade.

The fire brigade asks that the general public is destroyed by the tornados while continuing their search and recovery efforts.

“This is a heartbreaking memory of the dangers with which our first aiders are confronted every day, and the incredible bravery that they show in view of a catastrophe,” said the fire brigade. “Peace in peace, Major Leatherman. Your service and her victim will always be remembered.”
