Video: Truck hits the Pasadena clothing business, injured 1 and destroys 10,000 US dollar inventory

Pasadena, Texas (KTRK) – A man is in the hospital and a business owner of Pasadena decreases the parts after a truck was plowed into her shop early Saturday morning.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the Preston Avenue and the South Street.

ABC13 received a surveillance video in which the truck banged into a parked car, jumped two curb stones and plunged through a brick wall in Dariela Galvan's boutique. The impact has also switched off one of the brick support rays that hold up the carport.

The police said a man in the truck was taken to the hospital with injuries, but had no update about his condition or what caused the crash.

“If it has to come from our money, if that means building it up and starting from the front, if we have to do it all to restart again, I will be,” she said.

Galvan said she tried to recover what she could, but lost half of her inventory, including clothing, hangers and shelves- at least $ 10,000.

The crews spent the day picking up ruins, including bricks that fly over the parking lot.

Your business is next to your parents' shop, which was not affected by the incident.

Galvan said she often worked late and worked until 1 p.m. until 1 p.m. until Friday, the night before the crash.

“Thank God we weren't here when this happened because we could have been here,” she said.
