Google I/O 2025: How you can see and what to expect

Google I/O 2025 will take place on May 20 and 21, with Google's Big-Keynote taking place on day 1 on day 1. We expect Big G to talk about its countless innovations in its ever increasing product portfolio-with a large focus on AI on every step of the way. When we cross our fingers together, promise to be good and eat our entire vegetables, then we can even spoil a little insight into the upcoming hardware.

Google also organized a completely separate event that focused exclusively on Android. The Android Show: I/O Edition See how the wrapper of Android 16 went, with insights into the new material 3 expressive interface, updates for security and a focus on Gemini and how it works on a variety of other devices.

By spreading Android News into its own virtual event, Google frees itself to spend more time during the I/O keynote to talk about Gemini, Deep Mind, Android XR and Project Astra. It will be a embossed event, so you can see I/O 2025 how it happens and what you can look forward to.

Google I/O: Where you can see

Google I/A -Start with a keynote that takes place on May 20, 10 a.m. PDT (1 pm edt, 6 p.m. BST). It will almost certainly be available to stream online on the YouTube channel from Google, although a holding video is still available. There is also no live link on the I/O website, although you can use the practical links to add the event to your calendar of your choice. Expect that links to a live stream will be available closer to a live stream.

What you can expect from Google I/O 2025

Small chat about Android 16: Since Google Android 16 already gave its own excursion, it is likely that it will not be mentioned so much during I/A. In fact, Android was hardly mentioned at the last year's event, while the use of the term “Ai” was well over a hundred.

Android XR: Google did not speak much about Android XR during the Android show and instead concentrated on the purely telephone-based updates on the platform. In cooperation with Samsung and his Moohan Headset project, we expected more about the company's recent foray in the company in the mixed reality headset. It is therefore possible that this is saved for the correct I/O species.

Twins: Since Android is expressed in its own separate event, Google obviously clears the way for I/A concentration on everything the company does others. AI will continue to dominate the conversation at I/A, just as last year (although Google hopefully can make it more understandable) with updates for many of its AI platforms that are expected.

Gemini is expected to receive a variety of update announcements, including further information on his latest 2.5 -Pro update, which has various improvements in argumentation skills and in particular for helpfulness for the coding applications. Also expect many mentions of the other AI-based products from Google, including Deepmind, Learnlm and Project Astra. Let's just hope that Google has found out how this information makes too sense.

Beyond AI, Google can talk about updates to its other products, including Gmail, Chrome and the Play Store, although these updates are large enough to discuss during the keynote instead of discussing it as part of the developer sessions after the opening of I/O.
