The Mexican Navy said in a post on X that the Cuauhtemoc, an academy training vessel, was damaged in an accident with Brooklyn Bridge, which prevented it from continuing her journey.

The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on X that his ambassador in the USA and officials from the Mexican consulate in New York were in contact with the local authorities to support “cadets affected”, but did not mention injuries.
