Jack McGlynn met a long range after half-time to break the Deadlock, and Houston's dynamo withdrew a 2-0 triumph at FC Dallas on Saturday evening.

Griffin Dorsey also scored his first away win at Houston (4-6-4, 16 points) and won successive victories for the first time this season.

Jonathan Bond achieved three parades -including a backiedaling rejection by Anderson Julios efforts from midfield late in the first half -to preserve his second Clear Sheet in a row and the sixth overall rank of Houston.

Julio's bold attempt came with an otherwise uninspiring attack performance for Dallas, which fell on the fourth home accident.

The loss came after Dallas (4-5-4, 16 points) on the opening weekend in Houston won the previous meeting of this page 2-1, which was only for the second time that the away team won successive Texas derby games.

The first time came when Dallas won successive games in Houston in April 2014 and May 2015.

McGlynn broke through in the 64th minute. After McGlynn Dorseys pass had received a apparently innocent position that went far beyond the 18-yard box on the right, he made a few touches. Then he triggered a wild, surprising, left -wing efforts from about 25 meters that sailed beyond the diver by Michael Collodi and in the left post.

Dorsey ended the match 17 minutes later as a competition with some excellent games.

First he played a short combination with McGlynn to get over the midfield strip. Then he played another give-and-go in the penalty area, this time with replacement toyosi Olusanya, to get into the shooting position.

Dorsey then completed the move with a perfectly curled strike within the left post from about 12 meters to his first destination of the campaign.

In the 38th minute Julio thought that he had the chance to score one of the best goals of the season when he brought the ball into the middle circle and saw Bond from his line.

Julio started a perfectly spread shot from only in his own half to the open goal. But Bond turned his upper body and was able to mix quickly enough to redirect the excellent efforts directly above the latte.
