Pope Leo XIV's inauguration fair begins in the Vatican – Watch Live

Pope Leo XIV is opened as a Pope on a mass on St. Peter's Square. The service will mark the official start of its papacy.

Leo was selected as the new leader of the Catholic Church after the death of his predecessor, Pope Francis and a two -day conclave in the city of Vatican after the death of his predecessor.

The new Pope held its first mass in the Sistine chapel on May 9, shortly after his choice by the conclave. He used the service to demand the Catholic Church, to “desperate” to counter a lack of faith and demanded the unity of the Church of its cardinals.

Leo is the 267th Pope and the first to come from the USA.
