Community remembers that John Marshall Senior was killed weeks before the conclusion

Richmond, va. – Family, friends and parishioners gathered in honor of Sherd Bosher, the senior of John Marshall High School, who was shot several times last weekend.

The vigil on Saturday in Brookland Park showed balloons, flowers, posters of the 18-year-old, candles and speeches in memory of the teenager.

A spokesman had a powerful message for Richmond's youth during the emotional meeting.

“For all young people who are out here, I will not talk to them to put down their weapons. Because they know what's right and what's going on,” she said. “Because as you see now, there is nothing more than tears, blood and death. So get your training and leave Richmond.”

Sherelle Robinson, Bosher's mother, said Jon Burkett on Wednesday that she was still shocked after her first -born son was murdered in the South 2nd Street in the early morning of Mother's Day.

The family described their grief as an attempt to wake up from a terrible nightmare.

Bosher's grandmother, Tammy Sauls, told Burkett about her last interaction with her grandson.

“That night Sherrod came to the kitchen in which I was, and said: 'Grandma, I'm right again, I'm going to the shop with her.' I went to sleep and woke up to my daughter call and asked if Sherrod was in his room, “recalled Saul. “She said, 'Mom, they say he was shot.' The worst day of my life was my first grandson.

The Mercedes SUV was intended as a final gift for the young man who had worked hard for his grades and had played both football and baseball.

Bosher had plans to join the navy after graduation, which was planned for the end of this month.

“This pain will never disappear. I want justice. I want justice in this courtroom, so I can ask why? What was the reason? What did he do? What did he do so that they had to kill him? Nothing can be so serious,” said Robinson.

A gofundme has been set up for the funeral costs. Click here to donate.
