Whiteford, Twp. (Wxyz) – A pregnant woman and her unborn child were killed after they were hit by a drunk driver in Whiteford Township late Saturday evening.

We came north on the north at 10:00 p.m. around 10 p.m.

The investigators say that the woman, a 32-year-old inhabitant of Petersburg, drove with a Ford escape and drove north when the car was grabbed 300 by the driver of a Chrysler.

Witnesses informed the police that the driver of this Chrysler 300, a 24-year-old man from Ohio, drove vehicles from the right lane from the shoulder from the right lane and tried to pass the Ford escape on the left.

The influence of the side of the side led to the Ford flee over an embankment several times before it came to rest on the right. The woman was caught in the vehicle and had to be pulled out of the vehicle by the firefighters in Whiteford Township.

The woman was taken to the Toleod Hospital. She was in the seventh month pregnant and the unborn child was declared dead in the hospital.

After the man from Ohio had fled the scene on foot, he was found at a nearby petrol station on the US 223. It was arrested in two cases of the second degree murder and two counts by Owi, which caused death.

The man is to be charged later this week before Monroe County's 1st district court. Prosecutors believe that speed and alcohol were crashed.
